Moisture Management

The ROK-ON™ Rainscreen System allows for a drainage plane to be created using 3” battens made from our proprietary FRCC board.  The battens are non-combustible, will not rot, will not support mold or mildew and are bug-proof.  The battens are easily installed during the installation of ROK-ON™ Structural Insulated Sheathing and air/water barrier.

The ROK-ON™ Rainscreen system can accommodate most types of claddings and attachment details.  As the cladding attachment is fastened into the battens, and not necessarily into framing, it allows for a thermally broken system increasing energy efficiency.  The battens can reduce or eliminate expensive cladding attachment systems which sometimes cost as much as the wall itself.
